Beanbag is a social app that aims to bring people together based on a common interest; think meetups meets yik yak. Users engage with the app by creating a "beanbag" which entails a description, a member limit and category. Other users will see this group, if it's within their geographic area, and join by entering some text. Groups can be as trivial as "who wants to split an Uber" to "Calculus study group" or "single moms club". As with many group apps, the skies the limit. However, what sets this apart, its simplicity. We really want to bring like people together.
