About Scribiz
Scribiz gives you the context of a video. Paste a link or drop a file and get the transcript with speakers and timestamps, the text and scenes shown on screen, a summary and chapters. Export SRT, VTT, plain text, Markdown or JSON. It works on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X and Vimeo links and on your own files. You can try it in the browser without an account, inside a free daily allowance. A free account has 30 minutes a month, and Pro is $10 a month. There is also a Mac app for Apple silicon, a command-line tool on npm (npm install -g scribiz), an HTTP API, and an MCP server so AI agents such as Claude, Cursor and Codex can read a video from its link and answer with timestamps.
