Runstatus

Build your app, not a status page

Friday, June 17, 2016

Things go wrong. If you're running a web app, how do you keep your users informed when there's a service interruption or you need to schedule a maintenance period? Runstatus offers branded hosted status pages for software as a service providers, meaning they can easily keep their users up to date without having to build their own system status dashboard. With Runstatus, operators describe the components of their service and can then post interruption or maintenance updates using an API or web interface. It's in public beta right now and, for a limited time, free for the first year.
