At a high level it allows businesses to take greater control over their billing and usage with Power Cycle, Power Scale and Alerts. With Power Cycle, a business can turn AWS EC2 instances on and off by schedule to avoid wastage. Power Scale allows developers to take more granular control over their auto scale groups. With alerts, anyone can define a threshold and receive an alert when their AWS bill surpasses that amount. Alternatively, a user can get periodic alerts so that they're constantly up to date with your amazon spend. Receive alerts via SMS, e-mail, slack, hipchat integrations.
