Slack App to Stop Messages Disrupting Your Work

Due to an easy interface and the illusion of constant availability, Slack users are often tempted to send messages continuously and force conversations to be synchronous. This can lead to constant work disruptions due to users having to check each message immediately. out of fear of missing some information,  even while they are already busy with some other important task. Each message not only takes up time to notice , read and reply, but it also has an extended effect on the mindset of the user since they need to now spend extra effort and time to regain their focus.  This vicious cycle of messages and disruptions leads to a huge loss of productive time and valuable money.  We wanted to try and solve this problem and restore Slack's usefulness, without having to radically change the way people already work on Slack. This is what led to the creation of Dripfeedbot, which acts as a smart message buffer between yourself and the messages sent to you. Now, team members can send messages to Dripfeedbot, who will then keep it in a secure and personalised message queue until the recipient is actually free to read them.  As a message recipient , you can now choose when you want to see your messages, and then quickly respond to them with the help of interactive buttons. Also, messages will be combined and sent in batches, with options to reply along with the context of the conversation, thus eliminating the need to individually check each user's message thread.  You can also prepare your own personal user whitelist to immediately get messages from specific users.  Most channel messages are often one-directional communications , so they can now be easily merged into batches of 10 and automatically posted at a fixed interval , which will greatly reduce the number of notifications and distractions created. All these features work seamlessly with your existing Slack workspace and doesn't need any extra learning time from your users.  In short, Dripfeedbot is an essential app for any Slack team that loves productivity and hates having their work disrupted.
