CRNT

First surfing app for Apple Watch

Sunday, April 19, 2015

Designer and lifelong surfer Raleigh Felton wanted an easier way to view surf conditions at his favorite breaks, so he created CRNT as a side project at Smashing Boxes. The app collects longitude and latitude data from NOAA buoys that sends back information on tide and wave information at that specific spot. CRNT’s user-interface is sleek and uncluttered, using simple interactions and clear visual cues to communicate the data.
