The Buddy-Watcher constantly measures a predefined distance to the dive partner and releases a warning vibration as soon as this distance is exceeded. This way the Dive-Buddy-Separation will be eliminated. An additional feature is the ‘call-button’ that instantly attracts the attention of the buddy in case help is needed. Buddy-Watcher is a soundless communication device that works through vibrations between two or more divers. It is designed for divers to avoid noise and directly stay in touch underwater with their buddy , photographers, dive guides and of course Buddy-Teams without disturbing marine life. The wrist worn device allows contacting the peer within a range of up to 20 meter and 40 meter in depth. A push of a button provokes the vibration on the second device. The silent vibration can be felt through every wet and dry suit. Besides, connection can be established up to ten devices on the “Master-Edition”.
