There are over 20 million music professionals and amateur musicians that are looking for new collaborations and leads for work all over the world. Our objective is to help them by providing with an easy to use and dedicated portal where they can build their own professional portfolio, find work and be paid online. We are still in Beta but we already have more than 2000 top music pros registered. Like all new ideas, BantaMu is born from the necessity to fill an unmet need. In fact, I felt the need for an online network that would allow me to create a professional portfolio and that would facilitate the search for new collaborations and contacts in the music industry. Like many of my colleagues I created several profiles on other portals, such as Linkedin, but I noticed that they were not meeting my needs and certainly not helping me to find new collaborations. I then started to design, supported also by the observations of other colleagues, an online network aimed to all the professionals working in the music industry such as sound engineers, musicians, music video directors, photographers and artwork designers. BantaMu membership is totally free and you can create your own professional portfolio filled with contact information, skills, equipment, external media and credits list of all the bands and artists you’ve been working with. For the musician looking for a specific professional with whom to collaborate, whether in the studio to record their songs or to create the album artwork, it will be so much quicker and easier to find them with our search engine. Like freelancer.com or elance.com, we bring buyers (musicians) and sellers (music professionals) together. Our visitors can post jobs and music services opportunities (such as discounts for recording studios, special prices for music videos…). We apply a 10% commission fee on all the transactions that take place on BantaMu. 
The creation of a basic profile is free of charge and allows to post and search jobs and collaborations.
We also offer an annual subscription upgrade (With the Pay As Much As You Want formula) that offers access to specific services for each professional profiles on BANTAMU. 
The Upgraded Profile will include tools such as profile statistics, enhanced visibility on our MusicPros section, jobs/opportunities featured on our ExploreByArtist and Opportunities section, etc…
