Let us take design off your hands so you can focus on what matters--running your business. -- About Us: We're two Stanford grads who have both launched our own software products and run a design agency for several years. We've run into so many small businesses and startups who simply didn't have the budget to work with a full-fledged agency. But, they wanted a level of quality that could not be met by 99Designs or the typical freelancer on Upwork. We wanted to create a centralized place for the local flower shop owner or bootstrapped startup founder to get agency quality without the overhead. In order to achieve this we do a couple of things: -Commoditize the buying process via our interactive quoting tool. No time is spent writing proposals, negotiating costs and timelines, etc. (this is a huge source of non-billable hours that creates markups from agencies and freelancers alike) -Guarantee payment to designers assigned to a project. This ensures much higher quality of work than in a contest marketplace, since designers are fully invested in one task, rather than spreading generic templated entries far and wide in an effort to win a small bit of money. We think that contest marketplaces mistreat designers--the reviews online for 99Designs tell the same story. -Separate project management from design. Clients are assigned a Success Coach: a project manager who knows how to communicate effectively with both designers and clients. Often, designers have trouble interpreting the vision or critiques of their clients. We've found that having someone in the middle ensures an excellent customer service experience--without racking up unnecessary hours of time on the part of the designer. -Fast, fixed timelines (which are enforced).
