Pick

Find time to make things happen.

Pick will eliminate the pain of scheduling meetings. As sales executives, Ryan and Michael are intimately familiar with this issue, so they set out to start a company to solve it. Digital calendars like Google Calendar or Exchange surface availability of others. However, what if you are scheduling with someone outside of your company or are on your mobile device? Mobile calendar apps today don’t surface mutual availabilities and their core purpose is not scheduling. There are a handful of scheduling products on the market, but they don't have native apps and don’t connect with calendars to surface mutual availability. They still require multiple steps from each user. What the market needs is a mobile first platform that allows users to send a meeting invite in one step without having to ask the recipient when they are free, it just knows. Enter Pick. Pick solves the pain of scheduling as the only platform that surfaces the availability of each person, thus cutting out the back and forth of scheduling and accomplishing the task in one step. We do this by by connecting with our user's calendar (Google/Exchange/iCloud) to determine mutual availabilities. We are the only calendar agnostic platform with a native app that requires one step to schedule time. The network effects of Pick along with our laser focus on scheduling across all calendar platforms serves as a distinct competitive advantage for us to lock out competition. Additionally, each Pick user receives a personalized URL (e.g. pick.co/john) to share their availability with others. Contacts will click on this URL to book time on their calendar based on availability, removing the need to ask when they are free. Salespeople, recruiters, and sole proprietors will find this feature especially useful. We will market these segments initially to quickly grow our user base. Pick will generate revenue as a point solution through a freemium model.
