Plan, approve and schedule social content as a team!

Monday, March 7, 2016

Introducing Zaapt - a new social media planning tool for teams already being used by top agencies - created by London-based marketing duo Jenny Woods and James Jezusek. Based around a user-friendly visual calendar, Zaapt is shaking up the content planning process to meet up-to-the-minute business needs. Teams can create and review content threads, pin down events and ideas, sign-off content or suggest edits and schedule directly to Facebook and Twitter. Aimed at large and medium sized companies and agencies, it creates an unbroken line of communication and ideas which all parties can feed into effectively. Many social media teams are currently using a mix of spreadsheets, word docs and email to build their content plans before spending time copying that content into a social channel or their chosen scheduler. Zaapt creates an environment where the creative process can happen collaboratively and directly, without the need for legacy tools and separate scheduling apps. Jobs that require social media skills have increased 89% over the last two years. Everyone from company CEOs, agencies and people on the ground are involved in creating meaningful and reactive social content. The ‘away from email tools’ market is showing no sign of slowing down. Instant messaging app Slack was recently valued at $2.8 billion whilst project management tools such as Basecamp continue to grow on their multi-million strong user base. Social media platforms overall show increasing popularity with Facebook adding half million new users daily with 2 billion of us accessing social platforms on our mobile devices. Co-founder James Jezusek says "We were both frustrated at the disjointed process that we saw across multiple agencies we worked at. We knew we could build a tool that could simplify and centralise the complete workflow as well as saving teams lots of time and strain. We've had amazing feedback so far and we’re working on some killer features for this year.” Having launched in January 2016, users can now sign up at zaapt.com and follow on Twitter @Zaapt_HQ for the latest updates.
