GoAmeego is a mobile app and web platform that provides advanced notification to users when their travel plans overlap with their intimate network of friends. GoAmeego only uses location on the city-wide level and never uses geo-location via GPS, alleviating privacy concerns. In addition, GoAmeego allows the user to input future trips, allowing for notifications of future travel overlaps with friends. Finally, GoAmeego users create a limited, intimate network to share their travel plans, as opposed to large-scale social networks where sharing would be more limited.
