Disposable Identity for Instant Messaging

Burnerr lets you do Instant Messaging with people you don’t (yet) trust. When people want to talk online without giving away personal information, Burnerr is the perfect instant messaging platform. Let me explain how Burnerr works: You could be chatting with someone you like on a dating site. After a few minutes, you want to move forward and switch to an instant messaging app for more intuitive and real-time communication. The problem is that you don’t trust this person well enough yet to give them your phone number (for WhatsApp) or you Facebook name (You’re interested, but not crazy, and you don’t want to be a statistic on the news). Burnerr gives you the perfect solution. You create a temporary Identity - a nickname and maybe an image - and then send the name to you the person you’re talking with. Now you can chat and send pictures like any other Instant Messaging app, but without the risk of exposing personal details. If you eventually decide you can trust this person, you will probably give them you permanent contact information on Facebook, WhatsApp, or another favorite messaging site. On the other hand, if the conversation ends and you don’t want this person to be able to contact you anymore, your contact information is completely disposable. You can "burn" the Identity you created, erasing your nickname and all messages. You can create unlimited number of disposable identities for using in multiple chats simultaneously. Burnerr is also useful for business transactions, such as selling an item on Craigslist or offering an apartment rental. Once the sale is made, your Identity can be “burned” and you won’t have to worry about spam or unwanted messaging. Registration to Burnerr is anonymous: No need to give your email address or phone number.
