trbble aggregates people’s love for sections of songs to find their best parts, which are in turn used to aid music discovery. In simpler words, it’s a platform for people to find new music by sampling the most appealing parts of a song first. Listen to the best, decide if you would like to hear all of it and maybe save it to your collections. Or think of this as a possible collection of the most “Shazam!”d parts of songs. Value this creates: 1. chances are, if you like the best part, you might like the entire song; 2. it saves you a ton of time since the most relevant part is presented up front It is the simplest, fastest, and the most intuitive way to find new music. Take for example you heard of a new artist and want to find other songs by him, how long would it take to go through his entire discography? Or if you want to want to go through entire playlists/albums and choose which songs you like the best, but without investing in it? Why this works: • Massively rising online content has made given rise to content shortening platforms which are seen in the form of Twitter (text), Blinkist (books), minute.ly (videos), Vine (videos) etc. and even for dating, as evidenced by Tinder. • Decreasing attention span - 8 seconds, lesser than that of a goldfish according to the latest study by Microsoft. No wonder then, that 33% of all songs played on Spotify are skipped in the first 30 seconds. The reason is simple – users don’t want to wait for the best. And now they don’t have to.
