soShelf (as in social shelf) helps solve the following problems: 1. Each one of us has some clutter at home. Those are things that we don't use often but are not ready to through away either. So, if we are not using them at the moment, perhaps some of our friends and family would find them useful? 2. We often need something only temporarily - a tent, a sleeping bag, a specific tool - but the only viable option most often is to just buy it, even though it will end up creating more clutter at home after that single use. soShelf is like self-storage 2.0 - it creates visibility of the things we own within our social circles as you choose who you show/share your things with. At the same time, on soShelf you can see the things owned by your friends and colleagues that have been shared with you, and you can freely request them.
