Really, though, these efforts are good for markets, which pride themselves on being fair and transparent” Do you keep an eye on the stock market? For years, individual investors have relied on analysts to help them distill through all the noise in the markets. Not anymore. Tip'd Off is making investing more social and transparent. On Tip'd Off, people not only share and discuss stock tips, but also their actual stock holdings and buying/selling moves. We want to utilize the wisdom of the community rather than rely on analysts' opinions to make better investment decisions. Our goal is to democratize investing knowledge by making it more transparent and bring especially younger people's confidence back to the markets. Our vision is that: - Tip'd Off’s social community will enable users to find friends and expert traders to learn from and imitate their moves. - No more wondering if the people giving you tips are actually buying those stocks themselves -- on Tip’d Off you can follow users who share real trades. - Eventually, expert investors/contributors will be able to build a following, and a reputation, to earn extra money through our simple pay-per-follower model.
