Technology can be daunting for teachers, schools, educational publishers and students. Integrating technology into the classroom comes with a lot of friction. Teachers and students are busy (obviously!), but there are also cost pressures, training shortfalls and a lack of quality software in the market. Fortunately, teachers and students are clever, passionate problem solvers – untapped resources full of great ideas, who are endlessly creating. School should be a place for experimentation, trial, error, ideas and learning. Technology, design thinking and agile development principles have much to offer in this type of environment. Why teachers and students visit our website: 1. Users can pitch their ideas and questions as projects to our community. In a Kickstarter-esque way, other users vote for and share the projects they think are the best. Starting with monthly sprints, we will develop and support the best ideas. 2. The Pocketful Platform is built upon powerful templates and ‘plug and play’ features that can help any teacher make amazing resources with ease. Teachers are also able to share and sell these resources within the community.
