We developed an image compression algorithm that makes your photos take up significantly less amounts of storage space. We turned it into an app called Planky and we will launch it for IOS and Android January 2016. It automatically syncs with your dropbox to backup your current and all future original photos in your cloud. It also allows you to download compressed versions of your previously backed up cloud-photos right back on your camera roll.
